Description:

The SW3CAN switch is designed to convert one of the three positions to the code transmitted by the CAN BUS. The shaft can be rotated by 2x30°. The mechanical stops are used to define the working area during assembly. If rougher treatment is assumed, e.g. in construction machines, the mechanics must be supplemented with more robust stops, e.g. using a control knob. The position sensing and its evaluation are carried out by a Hall effect sensor with an attached fast-response micro-controller for immediate response to changes.

The switch is designed for the connection to a power supply network in the range of 7-30V. The output is a CAN BUS bus, with the switch being set as its continuous device, not the end one.

Due its construction, using a seal switch and a waterproof connector, it is suitable for use in demanding industrial environments.

By agreement with the manufacturer, it is possible to determine the number of switching positions up to 10.
