Functional description:

The ZAPO xx travel modules are sophisticated devices designed especially for controlling travel in ASC and similar machines. In general terms, the control module has six inputs and three power outputs with their own diagnostics. The inputs can withstand a constant voltage of 60V. Other features include protection against temporary overvoltage surges, filter with a time constant for suppressing rapid changes and a Schmitt flip-flop circuit for suppressing indeterminate states. The first output has a 20A electronic power switch; the other two outputs are equipped with relay contacts with protective transils. The power supply circuits are designed for an on-board network voltage of 12V and 24V. The module is fitted with a transil to protect against overvoltage surges, which is cable to suppress a normalised 6600W pulse lasting 10/1000ms. Its properties make it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics in power networks, where voltage peaks may occur when inductive loads and lights are switched, for which the robust travel control is prepared.

The individual module variants vary only in terms of their details; the mechanical dimensions, state machine and the wiring of most inputs are the same.
